Frances Montez Cano

Funeral services for Frances Cano, 59, of Conroe, Texas will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with burial immediately following in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Frances was born June 19, 1954 in Houston, Texas to Philiberto and Nicario Montez and passed away October 20, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. Frances was a very devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is preceded in death by her parents, Philiberto and Nicario; brothers, Philiberto Montez, Jr and Delfino Montez and by her sister, Adella Montez. Frances leaves behind her loving husband of 42 years, Ruben Cano; her children, Ruben Cano, Jr of Conroe, Valarie Castillo and husband Juan Carlos of Conroe, Frank Cano of Conroe, Jamie Palomo and husband Stephen of Baytown and Janetta Sosa of Conroe; grandchildren, Victor Elias Cano, Daniel Elliott Salinas, Salvador Ruben Salinas, Ruben Cano III, Gracie Cano, Alyssa Rose Cano and Eva-Lynn Palomo all of Conroe; sister, Betty Montez of Houston; brothers, Juan Montez and Joe Montez, both of Houston and her very special sister-in-law, Jessica Garcia Montez of Houston. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hernandez, Ruben Cano, Jr, Juan Carlos Castillo, Carlos Molina, Juan Montez, Jr and Eliseo Sanchez.
