Lucille was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for more than 35 years, passionately serving others. She had many roles in her field, and in large part yielded her talents to the elderly; those in convalescent homes, in addition to providing private care through traditional house calls. Her avid care and support of others lead to her participating in the Licensed Vocational Nurse Association of Texas, where ultimately she served as Treasurer on the Board overseeing the proper management and distribution of funding. Her attentiveness to patients and peers in her field built relationships, friendships and memories that she valued and treasured close to her heart. Lucille enjoyed reading books, some of her favorite authors were Debbie Macomber, Louis L’Amour, Diana Palmer, to name a very few. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her husband, Emory Lee Clark, Sr. precedes her in death; they were married on December 31, 1955. She is also preceded in death by her son, Emory L. Clark, Jr.
She is survived by her Children, Richard H. Smith and wife Jeane of El Dorado, California, Charles D. Clark of Houston, Texas, Christie L. Clark of Spring, Texas, John A. Clark and wife Dianna of Ranger, Texas; sisters, Margie Goodwin, Norma and husband Jerry Tabatt; grandchildren, Richard Smith, Jr., Inishia Smith Dobbs, Jared Clark, Shelley Clark, Ashley Clark Tinnerman and husband Eric, Kimberly Sanders Harrell and husband Joey, James Matthew Clark, Eric Heady, Ian Heady, Tresa Heady Bell, Nicholas Crain, Joseph Crain, Courtney Crain; great grandchildren: Brooklynn Harrell, Sydnee Harrell, Sunnie Franklin, Adeline Crain, Atticus Crain, Keegan Crain; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas.
The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 10:00am at Cashner Funeral Home. A Burial will take place in Dallas National Cemetery at a later date.
