Glenn Edward Goodwin

Born November 13th , 1930 in Lovelady, TX to Lilla Mae (Keys) Goodwin and Milton Goodwin.

Glenn was raised by Grandpa & Grandma Keys after the loss of his mother at a young age. Glenn was a Veteran of the Korean War in the US Army. In the early 1970’s he and his wife Lillian moved to Conroe, Tx. He had spent over 40 years as an Oilfield machinist. Glenn and his wife Lillian enjoyed traveling around the country, an especially to Paris, France. Glenn enjoyed watching baseball and rooting for the Houston Astros.

Left to cherish his loving memory, his son David Goodwin & wife Kim of Conroe, TX, daughters, Debbie & husband Kenny Wolfe of Bellville, TX, Susan Horton of Wortham, TX and Dana O’Neill of Spring, TX, 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He is also survived by loving brother Harold Goodwin & wife Shirley of Lovelady, TX , numerous nieces ,nephews and cousins.

Glenn is preceded in death by his mother Lilla (Keys) Goodwin , Grandparents Tobe (Grandpa)Keys, Eliza Jane(Grandma)Keys, sister Joyce Marie Meadows, wife Lillian Goodwin, and son Michael Goodwin Sr.

Serving as pallbearers; Charles Goodwin, Raymond Wolfe, Jason Wolfe, Jeremy Wolfe, Brandann Price, Mitchell Goodwin with honorary pallbearers Michael Goodwin Jr., Cory Blackshear, Colton Burch, Easton Wolfe and Alston Wolfe.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Metcalf Funeral Directors in the Metcalf Memorial Chapel from 5- 8 p.m. Interment to be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 10:45 a.m. at Houston National Cemetery at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77038, with military honors.
