Gloria Barnes was born in Lubbock, Texas on October 1, 1925 and passed away September 23, 2017 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Elonzo Bumpass and Estelle Howard Bumpass, and 13 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Clifford Donald Barnes; sons, Clifford Donald Barnes II and wife Eva of Magnolia, Texas, Thomas Joe Barnes and wife Mary Ann of Conroe, Texas and James Rodney Barnes and wife Annette of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren; Tania Hotchkiss, Clifford Donald Barnes III, David Michael Barnes, Ashton Gloria Barnes, James Rodney Barnes II and Jacob Thomas Barnes; great grandchildren; Ian Hotchkiss, Adam Hotchkiss and Kaylee Harper Barnes. Funeral service will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Thursday September 28, 2017 at 12:30pm with Thomas Barnes officiating. Burial will be in the Garden Park Cemetery.
