After graduating from St. Pius in 1965, he went into business driving a dump truck with his father-in-law and brother-in-law for about 3 years, worked as a machinist for Right Machine and retired from Logan Oil Tools in 2008. Harvey rarely took sick days. He was the hardest working man around and would always go out of his way to do what he could for everyone around him.
Harvey loved deer & dove hunting, fishing, a good game of golf, and you would always find him sitting on his front porch, people-watching and enjoying an ice-cold Bud Light!
He was a proud Catholic and a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member of the Our Lady of the Pines Council # 1759. Harvey had a deep love in God and shared his love of the Lord with others. He will be missed by all but never forgotten.
The family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers, that a donation be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
