

Jack Charles Snow, born on February 17, 1944, in Springfield, MO, passed away on July 9, 2025, in Conroe, TX, leaving behind a legacy marked by dedication to service and community. His life journey ended peacefully, surrounded by the memories of a life well-lived and well-loved.
Jack married the love of his life, Linda, on May 21, 1971, in Austin, TX. They were married 54 years and raised their four children in the many places the Air Force sent them. Jack dedicated over a quarter-century to the US Air Force, where his expertise in electronics ensured the safety and efficiency of numerous military operations. His specialized skills in installing and maintaining instrument landing systems on military runways were crucial in enhancing the functionality of airbases across various locations. Following his distinguished military career, Jack continued to serve the community through his work with the United States Postal Service in Austin, TX, where he remained for 12 years until his retirement.
Beyond his professional life, Jack was deeply committed to nurturing the youth in his community. He found joy and purpose in coaching Little League, influencing young lives with his passion for sports and teamwork. His volunteer work with the Boy Scouts further exemplified his dedication to guiding and mentoring young individuals in developing skills, confidence, and respect for others. Jack completed the Wood Badge Leadership course and was proud to be a Buffalo!
Jack's life was not only about his achievements but also about the joy he brought to those around him. His technical skills were matched by his kindness and willingness to contribute wherever needed. He was a member of the Global Methodist Church, attended the Walk to Emmaus, a member of the men’s group at DSMC and served in Kairos. His family members always knew they were loved.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and George Snow and brother-in-law, Charles D. Hoover II (Lynda). He is survived by wife Linda Snow, children Rebecca Lynn Fahey (Andrew), Ramona Rae Jett (Michael), Rachel Marie Alarid (Eric), Jack Charles Snow II, grandchildren Liam Fahey, Aubrey, Adrienne, Austin, Zachary, and Alyssa Jett, Taylor and Jacob Alarid, and Ashton and Avery Carpenter Snow, siblings Darlene Dow, George Snow, Jr. (Linda), sisters and brother in law, Judy Hoover, Dawn Hood (Robert).
Jack's life was a beacon of service, leadership, and compassion. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him and those who will come to know of him through the stories shared by his beloved family and friends. His contributions to his country and community are indelibly etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303 with visitation one hour prior to services. Graveside will occur Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
