Janice Elaine Kemp Davis, 79, of Montgomery, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Houston Methodist Hospital, The Woodlands, Texas. She was born on May 29, 1941, in Ft. Worth, Texas to the late Rev. Robert and Doris Kemp.
Janice grew up serving in all of her dad’s churches and gave her life to the Lord at a very young age. She was currently a member of Champion Forest Baptist Church and enjoyed all of her friends in the Shiners Life Group class there. She was a wonderful homemaker, a loving and devoted wife, and an amazing and caring mother of her two sons. She was a gracious and accomplished hostess and opened her home to family and friends on many occasions. She was always smiling and made so many people laugh with her witty and hilarious personality.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Bob Davis; son, Bobby Paul Davis, son, Gregory Brent Davis (deceased); brother, Richard Victor Kemp and wife Su, brother, Gary Lee Kemp and wife Sharon; nieces and nephews, Brenda Gay Foor, Ricky Victor Kemp and Sheri Lee Van Robays.
Celebration of life will be held Monday, November 23, 2020, at 2:00pm, in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Willie Collins officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Jude Hospital.
