Jean Warren Standley

Born during the Great Depression, Jean was raised on a farm in the piney woods of Deep East Texas. She married Mack Standley in 1950 and they raised 5 children in South Texas. Jean graduated with an education degree from Texas A&I in 1969 and taught public school for a few years. Mack and Jean moved to the Oak Ridge North area in 1978 where she lived for over 32 years. While there, Jean faithfully served our Lord at Oak Ridge Baptist Church. After Mack’s death in 2004, Jean eventually lived in Tyler and then in assisted living in The Woodlands and later Tyler again where she recently passed away.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband. Jean is survived by her brother, Buddy Warren, children Kenneth (Denise), Carey (Kathy), Brenda (favorite son-in-law Gary), Lanny (Cynthia), and Kevin Carla), grandchildren Nathan Standley, Dawn Standley, Kasey Beam, Jared Standley, Tim Warden, Andrew Warden, Ben Warden, Nicole Fulks, Stephen Standley, Holly Hicks, Zach Standley, Josh Shokorzadeh and Roya Nickolich. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
