Jesse Guinn

Jesse Howard Guinn, 67, of Conroe, Texas passed away July 22nd 2012 at 9:34am, after fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born in Austin, Texas on October 9th, 1944 to Buford and Lorena Guinn. He graduated from Lockhart High School, Lockhart, Texas and Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Jesse enjoyed six years of retirement after working as a math teacher in Big Lake, Texas, a Systems Analysts at Shell Oil Company and Production Manager at Lynx Information Systems in Houston, Texas. He was proud to be a member of the Family of God, River Pointe Baptist Church in Conroe, Texas, the Masons and the 1963 Class of Lockhart High School. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bobbie and Darrell. He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Iris; his children and grandchildren Jessica and Mike Kowis, and children, Lauren and Cash of Conroe, Texas; James and Ruby Guinn and children Adrianna and Daisy of League City, Texas; Suzanne Guinn and son, Ezra of Conroe, Texas and several beloved sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 24th 2012 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 11:00am at First Lockhart Baptist Church in Lockhart, Texas and burial at Lockhart Cemetery. Rev. Larry Strandberg and Rev.
