Funeral services for John B. Horton Sr. will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 9:00am with Pastor Rodney McGee officiating. Interment will be at 3:00pm at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet, Texas. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 5:00-8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. John was born January 3, 1934 in Fairhope, Alabama to Bunyon and Laura Bell Taylor Horton and passed away on May 27, 2011 in Montgomery, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, his 1st wife Doris Horton, grandson, John Todd Horton and sisters, Rebecca Davis, Gayle Goodman and Linda Pence. John is survived by his loving wife Sue Horton, daughters, Ginger Usher and husband Gene and Brenda McKenna and husband Richard, step daughter, Dee Lindley, son, John B. Horton Jr. "Butch" and wife Karen, sisters, Beverly Johnson, Laurette Foster and Ann Horton,brother, Michael Martin, (9) nine grandchildren and (17) seventeen great grandchildren.
