John Charles Whittington

Funeral services for John Charles (Big John) Whittington will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with interment following in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home.

John was born June 11, 1955 in Ganado, Texas to John and Annie Whittington and passed away November 4, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. John was a free spirit and loved riding his Harley and hunting. He worked as a wrecker driver with his brother Henry for numerous years in the Conroe area. He will greatly be missed by his loving family and friends who loved his company and will miss his presence.

Left to cherish the many wonderful memories John left behind are his children, Wendy Whittington and her husband Donnie Scivally, John Whittington and his wife Chasity, Robert Kearns and his wife Jessica, Billy Kearns and Jessica Howard and Bradley Whittington; his friend, Kathy Kearns; sisters, Donna Robertson and her husband Patrick, Sandra Harmon and her husband Tommy and Tammy Booth and her husband Douglas; brothers, Lonnie Whittington and his wife Mandy and Henry Whittington and his wife Michele; grandchildren, Madison, Sydney, Mason, Jaxon, Jaiden, Jordan, Zane, Brandon, Tyler and Krista. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
