Met Joe in Florida years back  I was up and coming  Heat treater, machinists.  Foster Wheeler Days.  Over time we kept crossing paths.  I began to notice what a great human  Joe really was..  He  mentored so many in his own way.   Missed 

So many things one could say about Joe. For starters he was the toughest guy I ever knew. He was also one of the proudest I ever knew. And he had so much to be proud of; his faith, his military service and sacrifice, his education, his work ethics, his patriotism, his knowledge, his careers, his humnanity, his loyalty, his philanthropy, his inspiration... and so much more. Valerie- Nothing on this earth was as tough as he. But God needed him. We will all miss him and I pray God takes the hurt away soon for you and your family...and replace it with the sweet memories of the great husband, father, son, mentor and friend we all knew.

My prayers and condolences to the Edgell family.  I met Joe through work with Zachry and it had been a pleasure working with him over the years.

My deepest condolences to Valerie and the family. Joe was the hardest worker and the most patriotic veteran I have ever known. He was not just a co-worker for 7 years but also a good friend. As busy as he was as a QA/QC Manager for Zachry, he would always take time to teach others. He will be sorely missed.

Valarie, I am very saddened to hear of Joe passing on and would like to express my sincere condolences to you and your family. Joe was a good person who always had time for others. He will be missed by myself and all of his friends at Zachry.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Valerie and the family. I have known Joe for 7 years and have the upmost respect for him. He not only had a very successfull military career Joe was also very compasionate person. I'm proud to say he was my good friend.
