Kathy’s zeal for life, family and friends came from her love for Our Lord Jesus Christ. She strived to make this world a better place by being involved in conservative political groups, where she served as a precinct chair. She was actively involved in church ministries and several prayer groups. She worked as a social worker for many years. Later she was able to branch out and form her own business helping young girls in need of love and emotional support. Her greatest love and joy was for her daughter Hannah. She enjoyed good food, great fashion, reading, flowers and spending time with family and friends. Kathy was able to handle life challenges with great wisdom, peace, love and grace. She brought light to the darkness, joy to the oppressed and hope to the hopeless. We will miss her dearly.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Norita Kitter Nielsen. She is survived by daughter, Hannah Faith Ross and brother, Steven Nielsen and wife Denise. Numerous loving family and friends also survive.
