Lewis Oliver Greene

Funeral services for Lewis Oliver Greene, age 75, of Willis will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Wes Pratt officiating and assisted by Jody Westra. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.

Lewis was born April 24, 1935 in Goose Creek, Texas and passed away on October 25, 2010 in Conroe, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church and the Northside Baptist Men’s Bible class. Lewis is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley Greene; daughters, Terrie Greene and fiancé Rick Catchings, Kari Ann Daniel and fiancé Larry Holliday and Shelle Curry and husband Bobby; sister-in-law, Claudette Dickenson and husband Jerrett of Arkansas; brothers-in-law, Jerry Duncan and wife Theresa of Arkansas and John Duncan and wife Vicki of California; grandchildren, Stephanie Catchings and husband Rick, Ryan and Timothy Daniel and Bradley and Abbe Curry; great grandchildren, Zachary, Austin and Lynnlee Catchings and Erik Daniel. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Ryan Daniel, Timothy Daniel, Bradley Curry, Rick Catchings, Charlie Diggs and Steve Bennett. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Clark and Ray Rigsby.The family would llike to give a special thanks to Odyssey for all there help in there time of need.
