Lynn Richard Preas

October 21, 2021. Lynn was born February 14, 1944 in Cooper, Texas and was truly a

Valentine sweetheart his entire life.

A visitation for Lynn will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Metcalf

Funeral Directors, 1801 E White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas, followed by a funeral service at

10:00 AM with Pastor Dr. John D. Andrews of First Baptist Church of New Waverly officiating.

Interment will be at Conroe Memorial Park following the service. Those serving as pallbearers

are Richard Barkley, Joshua Barkley, Cody Crawford, Johnny Pennington, Benny Donnell, and

Tom Wells.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Myrle Lorene Preas and Alfred Hursel Preas;

sister, Sharon DeLois Preas; brother, Kenneth Alfred Preas; and by his beloved son, Tracy Lynn

Preas.

He is survived by: daughter, Heather “Kristi” Preas of Conroe, grandsons Richard Barkley of

Houston and Joshua Barkley and wife Brittany of Conroe, granddaughter Ashley Crawford and

husband Cody of Conroe, sister Kathey Pennington and husband Johnny of Willis, and

numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first

great-granddaughter.

He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He was a wonderful father, “Geepaw”, friend and

always had a smile for everyone.
