Born May 2, 1936, daughter of Kenneth Cook & Sue Sneddon. Today, we gather with heavy hearts to honor and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman—Marcia Jean Kinard Feinerman. She was more than a mother, wife, grandmother, and friend—she was the heart of our family and the soul of every room she entered.
Marcia was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Sandra Sue, her grandson Ryan, her sister Marlene, her brother Byron and her parents. Though their loss was profound, her strength never faltered.
She is survived by her loving husband Shelby, her children James, Kenneth, Sheral, Joe and Rhonda, and step children LeAnn and Robin and her legacy continues through her 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was a fighter.
Life wasn’t always easy for her, but you’d never know it. She faced every challenge with courage, and unwavering determination. Even in the toughest times, she remained a pillar of strength. Her life was a testament to resilience, love, and selflessness. Though we grieve her physical absence, we know her spirit lives on. In every act of kindness we offer, every challenge we face with courage, and every memory we carry, she is there. She leaves behind not only a large and loving family but also a legacy of love, service, and quiet strength that touched countless lives. She would want us to remember her by the way we live: with warmth, with compassion, and with the kind of strength that doesn’t shout, but simply endures. She would want us to cherish each other, to keep showing up for one another, and to carry her memory forward not in sadness, but in love. We love you, Mom. Thank you for everything.
