Maria Guadalupe Almazan, 42, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026, peacefully at home with her family at her side. Maria was born May 23, 1983, in Soledad de Graciano Sanchez, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Daniel Gaytan and Francisca Arguelles.
She is preceded in death her father Daniel. She is survived by her husband Fabian Almazan, children; Fabian Alexander Almazan, Mason Aiden Almazan and Axel Liam Almazan, siblings; Norma Gaytan, Martita Sanchez, Coquis Gaytan, Julie Arguelles, Juan Gaytan and Junior Arguelles.
Maria was a loyal Christian and loving mother and wife. She enjoyed being in her garden and especially loved dedicating time to her 3 amazing boys. She was a source of love and warmth to everyone who knew her. She would do anything to keep her family safe. She will deeply be missed and remembered.
Maria’s kindness, generosity, and gentle nature touched the lives of many. Her memory will live in our hearts. Isaiah 66:13 As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Monday, March 9, 2026, at 11AM at Metcalf Funeral Directors. The family will receive visitors at 10AM prior to the service.
