Mark Linden Evans

Mark was born April 30, 1958 in Tachikawe, Japan at the USAF military hospital. He was the son of William A. Evans, Jr. and Dessa L. Evans.

He is survived by his mother, Dessa L. Evans; his sister, Marsha (Evans) Milsom and brother-in-law, Jim Milsom; his niece and nephew, Jennifer and Ralph Fiscus; his great nephew, Jeremy Fiscus; and his great nieces, Delayna and Megan Fiscus. He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Evans, Jr. and his brother, David A. Evans.

Mark was born and raised in the Army until his father retired as a Lt. Colonel after serving 20 years. He was a loving son who watched over his mother and cared about everyone. He loved building electronics and giving special gifts for no occasion to his family and friends. While he battled serious health issues throughout his adult life, it did not stop him from helping anyone in any way he could. He will be dearly missed, may he rest in peace.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 3 PM in the mausoleum chapel at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas with Brother Roy Youngblood officiating.
