Mary Jean Fowler passed away peacefully in her home with her family and loved ones by her side on July 25th 2021, she was born on December the 14th 1936, to parents Tom and Ruth Armstrong. Mary was a licensed vocational nurse for many years with the old Conroe hospital she later worked for the Montgomery County Health Department until her retirement . After retirement she enjoyed working in her yard , and greatly enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. Mary played the piano by ear without reading music . she was very passionate about her music and she enjoyed playing for her Sunday school class at Conroe Bible Church. With her husband by her side they volunteered weekly at local nursing homes bringing the joy of music and fellowship to those who were unable to attend their own church.
She was proceeding in death by her parents and brother Doyle Armstrong. She is survived by her loving husband and constant companion of thirty years Clarence (Butch) Fowler, son, Wes Wagner and wife Jennifer, step children, Rissa Davis and husband Mark, Karen Blount, Jeff Fowler and wife Karen, Chrissy Tabor and husband Kenny. She was blessed and adored by thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 2pm, on October 2, 2021, at Cashner funeral home in Conroe, Texas. We would like to invite all friends and relatives to join us to honor and celebrate Mary's life.
