Mila Maria Gonzales, aged 7 weeks, died in her parents’ arms at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston,TX on October 10, 2014 at 8:21pm. Heaven’s gain was our loss when our angel was called by our Lord. Mila came into this world too soon and was taken too soon. Mila provided joy and happiness to everyone she touched. She showed this world that miracles can happen as God worked miracles through her. Mila shined our Lord's light so brightly during her time on earth. Mila is the daughter of Michael and Maria Gonzales of Montgomery Texas. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Ava and her brother, John. Mila is the answer to her parents' prayers, and they waited for her birth with joyful expectation. During her brief visit on earth, she enjoyed listening to music, cuddling with her prayer cloths, and being held close by her parents. She was loved by all who met her, and will be greatly missed. A Rosary Service will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 at 7 PM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77301. Mila Maria- Our Angel
The 22nd of August is a day we will never forget.
You came into this world we finally met.
Mommy and Daddy were in complete awe.
The first of many miracles we saw.
1 pound, 5 ounces that was your exact weight as I recall.
I could hold you in my palm, goodness you were so small.
Yet, you were so perfect, our beautiful baby girl.
Finer than any diamond or pearl.
We truly did not know how you would pull through.
Less than 50% chance of survival, this we knew.
However, we began to see that God had a greater plan for you.
To bring people closer to the cross, this we saw you do.
I was so proud to see how you shined His light.
Nothing I’d ever seen shine so bright.
Overcoming so many obstacles put in your path each day.
Proving to so many people with God’s will there is a way
Then all of a sudden the angel came for reasons we may not understand.
A journey brief, with gifts so great, and guided by God’s hand.
So rest now tiny angel, your work on earth is through
In the beauty of God’s perfect love we saw his gift in you
