Oliver Hale Hance was born on June 18, 1926 in Asheville, North Carolina to Herman and Mollie Hance. Oliver went to be with Jesus on February 18, 2021, in Conroe, Texas. He was a man of God, a World War II Veteran. Oliver served his Lord by becoming a Minister as well as serving his community by teaching in the public school system for many years. After retiring he served as a County Commissioner for one term.
Oliver had two loves in his life, he married his first love Jennette, after 54 years of marriage the lord called her home. Later he married Angie, they were married 11 years before he went to be with our Heavenly Father. Oliver was many things to many people. He was a Father, Brother, Grandfather and a great-grandfather. He will be missed.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 10:00am at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. Following the funeral service there will be a graveside service in Houston National Cemetery beginning at 2:00pm.
