Paula grew up in Louisiana and later moved to Texas and Arizona after marriage, where she was a homemaker who loved to dance, laugh, and enjoy life. Paula was loyal, fun-loving, and loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Lemuel Andrew Jones; her children, Angela Renee Jones, Curtis Jones, Aaron Jones, and Adam Jones; Curtis’s wife, Valentina Balint-Jones; Adam’s partner, Joanna Matus; Aaron’s partner, Martin Luna; her brother, Johnny Thomas; her sister-in-law, Linda Thomas; and her granddaughters, Katelynn Jones, Cristina Herder, Jessica Feraru, and Diana Arland.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Andrew Paul Jones; her parents, Paul and Annie Ruth Thomas; and her siblings, Susie Cascio, Dorothy “Dot” Spillers, Jimmy Thomas, Barney Harris, and Joe Harris.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Cashner Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 PM at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas. Family and close friends are invited to attend.
Paula will be deeply missed and forever loved. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation for neuromyelitis optica.
