Rena Fails Wynn, a lifelong resident of Huntsville, Texas was born May 22, 1926 and passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the age of 88. She retired from Sam Houston State University after 27 years of service. She was an active member of the First Assembly of God in Huntsville. Rena had a great passion for country music, enjoyed dining out and playing dominoes with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezert and Stella Dykes Fails.She was the youngest of five children; three sisters and one brother whom preceded her in death. Rena is survived by her two daughters, Bobbie Roberson of Houston, Texas and Carolyn Gideon and Carroll Reznicek of Huntsville, Texas; grandchildren: Connie Mathis and John Nelson, Kay and Matt Martin, and Kelly and Jackie Hein; great grandchildren: Jacy Mathis, Jayden Mathis, Thomas Martin, Austin Martin, Landon Martin, Payce Martin, Steeley Nelson and Jax Hein. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11am in the Petree Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas with Pastor John Gaston.
