Memorial services to celebrate the life of Richard Charles Hannay will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Conroe Bible Church with Rev. Dave Schneider officiating. Richard was born April 15, 1936 in Peabody, Kansas to James and Neola Hannay, and went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2013. Richard was a very devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Conroe Bible Church for 24 years. He worked in Research and Development in the utility industry for 44 years and was a master storyteller. Richard is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Schnacker of Hoyt, KS. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon (Sherry) Hannay of Conroe, TX; daughter Kimberly Hannay of Phoenix, AZ; sons, Jeffrey Hannay and wife Cathy of Niceville, FL, and Michael Hannay and wife Maureen of Honolulu, HI; sister, June Tebbutt of Topeka, KS; brother Jim Hannay of Whitefish, MT; grandchildren Ashley Hannay and Thomas Hannay, and his very special companion, Choocephus.
