Robert M. Stone, 66, of Montgomery, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 25, 2025. Robert was born on November 10, 1958, in Austin, Texas, to Roy and Mimi Stone and grew up in southern California. It was there that he met his wife, Lori, and started his family, and began his life’s work by caring for his grandparents at the end of their lives.
Robert lived his life with the joy of the Lord and the opportunities afforded by our beloved country. Along with his wife, he used his gifts, talents and loving heart to build senior care businesses first in California and then in Texas. His engaging and friendly demeanor easily connected him with people. His gift of humor lightened many hearts and moods and made celebrations entertaining and difficult times in life easier to bear.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mimi, his brother Roy and sister Marilyn. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lori; his children, Trevor (Angelica), Breena (Michael) and Joshua; granddaughters, Grace, Araely and Sofia; sisters, Karen, Sharon and Carolyn; brother Bill, and all his siblings’ families.
Loved ones may leave this world but they will never leave our hearts. Robert was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be missed so much by everybody who knew him. We take comfort in knowing he is home and what a joyous celebration it will be when we are all gathered together again one day!
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd. Conroe, Texas, 77303.
