Verna B McCoy was born December 21, 1937, in Jenison, MI, and died October 30, 2017, in Houston, TX. Verna was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years Mickey, children John and spouse Kathy, Monique and spouse John, Denise and spouse Bob. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren whom she loved and spoiled: Lauren, Lacey, Stephen, Jackson and Max. Her greatest love was the Lord and second only to that were her family and friends. Her life was lived fully and completely in loving and serving others with her beautiful music, written words, amazing cooking, interceding in prayer and being present and joyful in our lives for all things big and small.
Verna will be buried in the Garden Park Cemetery in a small graveside service Saturday morning November 4th at 10 am. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, November 3rd at the Cashner Funeral Home or at the monthly potluck dinner following the November 4th Sabbath morning services of the Conroe Church of God – Seventh day.
