Walter Chester “Scooter” Parzyck, 60, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Scooter was born December 6, 1964, in Mount Holly, N.J.

Walter graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1988. He was a Bearkat through and through. He had an long, outstanding career in the forging industry. He loved traveling, wood working, and fishing. He had a love for the Houston Astros, Texans, and above all, his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, R.L. and Eunice Sapp, and Walter B. and Jean Parzyck; uncles, Daniel Tyra and Randy Tyra; aunts, Dolores Parzyck and Jeanie Waszkiewicz; and special uncle, David Eaton.

Scooter is survived by his loving wife, Gina Parzyck; parents, Chester and Evelyn Parzyck of Montgomery, Texas; step-daughters, Stephanie Weber (Mark) and Randi Shaffer (Braden); grandchildren, William , Matthew, Elizabeth, Nathan, Luke, and Nora; aunts, Valeta Skweres (Stanley), Susan Stanton (Tommy), Wanda Murray (Bill), and Virginia Pfister (Bill); uncle Raymond Parzyck (Nancy); and several other cousins.

A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 3pm at Metcalf Funeral Directors.
