Carballo, Carmen, 91, of Margate, passed away July 21, 2014. Carmen was born June 24, 1923 in Mexico City, Mexico to the late Roman and Eva (Castellanos) Diaz. For many years she worked as an office manager/bookkeeper for an automobile dealership and in later years worked for Macy's until she was in her 80's. She liked to keep busy and always helping others. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence (Margaret) Carballo, Richard (Kathleen) Carballo, Ramon Carballo, grandchildren, Robert (Mary) Carballo, Laura (Barry) Stouffer, Kerri Carballo, Christopher Carballo, Dominic Carballo, Nicolas Carballo, Gabrielle Carballo, Julianna Carballo, great grandchildren, Robert, Amand, Allie & Ryan Carballo and Erika & Erin Stouffer. Her brother, Manuel Botello, also survives her. The family will receive friends on Thursday,July 24, 2014, 7:00 - 10:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs. A Christian Burial Service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014, 10:00am at Queen of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale where entombment will immediately follow.

larry, sorry to hear about your mom. remember her well from visits to your home many years ago. also remember when she came to visit d.c. and was almost car jacked. she was a beautiful woman and you were so lucky to have her around for so long.
