
Delores Lue nee Chang, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother peacefully departed this world on May 29, 2025 at the age of 90. She was born in John’s Hall, Clarendon, Jamaica on November 15, 1934 to Chang Ah King and Theresa Chang. In Jamaica she held positions of salesperson, store clerk and bookkeeper and also had a baking business. She immigrated to the United States in 1979 and lived and worked in Miami as a salesperson, records clerk and bookkeeper, retiring from Av-Med Insurance in 2000. Delores moved to Coral Springs in 2019 and lived there until she was called to be with God. She loved gardening and baking and even had a talent of dressmaking, especially when her children were young. A devout catholic and devoted family member, Delores will be remembered for her warm, generous, kind and loving nature. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, her 7 siblings and her daughter-in-law Susan and is survived by her children Alvin, Derrick (Beth), Grace (John) and Faith (Middleton); her grandchildren Andrew (Marjuri), Therese (Elliott), Alina, Rebekkah and Kaylah; her great grandchildren Selina, Marlie, Joseph, Celine, Julie and Canaan.
A celebration of life will be held on July 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1401 Coral Ridge Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missionaries of the Poor in her honor.
