Francine Clairette Courchesne

Francine Clairette Courchesne was born on September 5, 1948. She first greeted the world in Nicolet, Quebec Canada. She was the daughter of Therese and Justin Courchesne. Francine was raised in the country with 13 brothers and sisters: Gilles, Lise, Cecile, her twin France, Yves, Allain, Rene, Richard, Pierre, Jacques, Jean, Sylvie and Daniel.

During her childhood, she attended l'école normale and then she graduated from the école scientifique in 1968.

Francine began with her first career as a teacher in 1968. Moved to Florida in 1972 where she worked as a waitress while she studied English at a school in Pompano. In following, Francine would teach in French and English to children as a tutor in their private homes. In 1984, Francine pursued her true passion and began nursing school, she graduated as a nurse on January 28th, 1985. She immediately began working at Florida Medical Center where she served with compassion and sense of pride until her untimely resignation in July 2010.

Francine Courchesne and Robert Maurice began dating in 1976, they remained together and married on December 23, 1981, they remain forever bonded in each others hearts for eternity. In 1980, Francine became the primary Parental Mother for her Step-Daughter Bridgette, who she nurtured and raised as her own.

In her leisure time, Francine loved to play golf, spend time gardening with her flowers and caring for the birds that would visit her every morning. Often you could find her just pausing to take in the moment and marvel at the sights that nature would present to her.

Francine Courchesne passed away at the age of 62 from pancreatic cancer April 4th, 2011 with the kindhearted attended care of Vitas Hospice at Florida Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her Father Justin and her Sister Cecile. She is survived by her husband Robert, her step-daughter Bridgette, her brothers Gilles, Yves, Allain, Rene, Richard, Pierre, Jacques, Jean, Daniel and her sisters Lise, France, Sylvie. Francine will be brought back to her mother Therese in Canada for her final resting place.

Francine Clairette Courchesne did her best to ensure that her family, friends, loved ones, co-workers, and everyone whose life she touched were given the chance receive the love she had to give to each one individually. All who knew her would agree that Francine was a pillar of strength and compassion amongst her family and friends.
