Janet Ruwe passed away on January 7, 2020 after an unexpected illness. Janet was born on February 6, 1962 and was taken from us way too soon. Janet married Timothy Ruwe on June 28, 1980 after being told by many that they were too young. Having loved each other since the age of 8, they knew better and proved them all wrong. They had two children, Timothy and Brian. While Tim and her boys meant the world to her, everyone knew her grandchildren were the light of her life. Madison, Megan, Brandon, Colton, Cora, Cooper and Katelyn were her pride and joy. Nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with them. They have a very special angel forever to watch over them.
Janet was predeceased by her parents and her siblings Joseph Matthew McCullough, John Thomas McCullough, Joan Ann Johnson and Rodney Thomas McCullough. She is survived by her siblings Florence McCullough, Michael McCullough, Marilyn Calandriello, John McCullough, Barbara Clements, and Maureen Bernstein. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and people who adopted her as their family.
While heaven gained an angel, anyone who knew her will miss Janet’s infectious smile and laugh, her compassion and willingness to help everyone. She was quick to help anyone and always tried to bring happiness to everyone she met. She could enter a room full of people she never met and would quickly be the life of the party. She was our sunshine.
