JOHN W. LAWLESS, 80, of Coral Springs, Florida died surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. He is survived by his cherished wife Ann, loving children Rhonda (Bill) Willingham, Debra Lawless Martin, grandson and namesake, John William Willingham and granddaughter Julia Ann Willingham, brother Albert Jay Lawless along with many loving nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his sisters Frances Sorden and Lu Palmer.
John was born in Missouri and moved to Colorado where he met Ann. His career took him and his family to Pennsylvania and South Florida. John’s family will fondly remember his love of mathematics and physics, his determination to fix anything that was broken, playing country music on his guitar, boating and water skiing, and especially spending cherished time with family and grandchildren.
Family will have a celebration of his life on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the KRAEER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers , his family is requesting contributions be made in his memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
