Leon M Avitable

Leon (Lee) is survived by his wife Margaret of 61 years, his children Terry Avitable (James DeMaio), Jane McNeill (Joseph McNeill), John Avitable (deceased), Michael Avitable (Greg Arcari).

He has 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great -great grandchild. He is survived by his brother John Avitable of Stuart, FL, his sister Roseann Cady of Stuart, FL, his sister Diane Kilts of Charlotte, NC, his brother Robert Avitable of Charlotte, NC, and his brother James Avitable of St. James, Long Island, NY.

Lee and his wife were members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, He was a very loyal and loving husband to his wife Margaret and a loving father to all of his children, grandchildren and great-children.

He loved golf, bowling, playing cards and bagels on Sundays with their friends. He loved most of all spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Leon will be held Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 24, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1401 Coral Ridge Dr., Coral Springs, FL 33071. A committal service will occur Friday, July 24, 2020 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven, 1400 S. State Rd. 7, N. Lauderdale, FL 33068.
