Bob was a good friend and mentor to me for all the years I worked for him.It is very sad that a young man of his age had to leave us all so early. I will miss him.

As Capt. Bob's other boat neighbors, we were always impressed with his dedication to keep his sailboat ship shape, even in the South Florida Summer heat. Capt. Bob is now sailing  the Universe, so glad to have known you.

Bob was a trusted friend and mentor, his caring and his exemplary leadership were one of the most positive influences on my life and career. Bob was a master of reducing the complexities of his domain to fundamentals for his associates. His friendship and perspectives will be sorely missed.

Other than my father, I can think of no man that had a greater influence on my career, hence in many ways my life, than Bob. He pulled me from an engineering role to run a mfg dept in Plantation, then sent me to Singapore and introduced me to my wife of 23 years. I was his sole project for my first 4 months in Singapore, where I was learning to manage Mot's Tuas PCB plant. Years later, at the Irish paging plant I was running, he sought my manufacturing input. That was a real compliment. I apply what I learned from him every day.

Maria and Juli, We send our deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved husband and father. We know words cannot relieve the pain of your loss but maybe the remembrances from us and others can give you a small smile of remembrance by knowing that he left a great legacy with others.  As many friends do, we did not see each other enough over the past years and for that we are sad for not having enjoyed his company more.  As with many, he had a great impact on our lives and helped Mike greatly in his career at the big M. We are fortunate to have had Bob in our lives and will miss him greatly.

Bob, was a warm and caring person. He welcomed everyone irrespective of their race, creed, colour or status in life. Indeed he was a great man.  I will always remember him fondly. I am blessed to have known him.

So sorry for you loss.  I never met Bob but I know he raised a wonderful daughter, Juli.  And the line continures with the darling granddaughter Ayah..That's what he started and life goes on from there.  My thoughts are with the whole family.
