Robert Allen Prell

Robert (Bob) Allen Prell, son of the late Paul and Betty (née Margot) Prell, died on July 13, 2024 at the age of 87. Robert was born on May 23, 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland. Robert proudly served in the Navy on the USS Coral Sea from 1954 to 1958. He was a distinguished businessman in the Baltimore area for many years. He was the founder and CEO of Northwest Beauty Schools and owner and operator at Bob and Jo Hair Salon. Robert loved to fish, golf, dance, charm the ladies, and watch game shows, especially the ‘Price is Right.’ He was also a fantasy football guru. After retirement, Robert enjoyed living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Robert is survived by his daughter Lisa (Scott) Merkle, sons Bobby Prell and Joel (Kirsten) Prell, and grandchildren Sierra, Nick, Tyler, Lindsay, Derek, Alyson, Elizabeth, and five great-grandchildren. Robert is predeceased by his mother Betty, his sister Shirley Luntz, and his son dear precious Ricky Prell, who passed away as an infant. Robert has longed to be with his son Ricky since he passed and we are sure they are now reunited and fishing together.
