A  man that no one could ever not like. One of the greatest smiles,  always remember Tom and Gino's corvette trip to Fort Lauderdale.
Remembering Garch brings a smile to my face.  His courage and love for life is a lesson for all of us. He's probably making God laugh.

I fist met Thomas in 1982 and was taken by his honesty and humor. I began working, taking care of him from April 1982 until his passing in July 2020, 38yrs. He was truly a great soul. Very honest and sincere in his daily life. As a quadriplegic, he was very aware of his limitations, but never gave up on enjoying life with his family an friends. He had a superb memory and will always interject with the jokes I shared with him. He was a true friend in the USA, coming from Trinidad West Indies. I miss him a lot and I know he is with the Angels saying hi to me from Above. Tom, we love and miss you. It was indeed an honor and pleasure to have met you my friend. God Bless.

I will  always remember you. We went to Saint Ed’s together. We made our first communion together, and I had a mad crush on you in the first grade. I was just asking someone from Youngstown about you last week. I was so sorry to hear about your passing! May you RIP!

You were one of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing ❤️ I will always cherish the times of living near you in Coral Springs and sharing lots of fun times with you and Boise, your brother George and most recently the visits with you and Debbie even though it’s been quite awhile since our last visit. Remembering his wonderful and gentle soul.  Will miss one of the few people who called me Norita.  Who endured Juan’s crazy stories and was proud and a mentor to Johnny.  What great times we had eating pistachio ice cream, laughing and sharing family dinners.  What great hospitality.  He will forever remain in our hearts.   May we meet again in heaven.  May he rest in peace!

Many thoughts and prayers are extended to the family and friends of Tom Garchar.  I worked many years ago with Tom at Strouss' Austintown Department Store in Youngstown, Ohio.  I have many fond memories of our time working there together.

Heartbroken to hear of Toms passing. What a great guy he was. Kind generous and loving. My condolences to Debbie and Boise, and thank you for the impeccable care you gave  to him. He will be missed.  I always enjoyed our talks.
