Thomas McKee

McKee, Thomas, 71, of Coral Springs, went to be with the Lord December 26, 2014. Thomas was born on April 22, 1943 in Newton, Massachusetts to the late Thomas James and Mary (Shanahan) McKee. He was employed for many years as an architectural engineer. He was an avid fan of all Boston sports teams and enjoyed bowling and golf. He was an usher for many years at St. Malachy Catholic Church and a Past Grand Knight and current member of the Knights of Columbus serving as a member of the color corp. Thomas was predeceased by his sister Frances Day in 1991. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 52 years, Margaret, children, David (Diana) McKee, Liz Skelly, Thomas (Kathryn) McKee, grandchildren, Siobhan McKee, Zoe Lombardo, Leah Lombardo, Brittany Skelly, Cameron Skelly, great grandchild, James Lombardo and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, 4:00 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs. A Mass of Christian Rite will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, 9:30am at St. Malachy Catholic Church. 6200 John Horan Terrace, Tamarac, FL with Fr. Dominick O'Dwyer officiating.
