Walter John Kraus, 74, of Delray Beach, passed away April 7, 2017. Walter was born July 5, 1942 in Queens, New York to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Kraus. He lived in Massapequa, New York prior to moving to South Florida in 1970.
He worked for many years at The Home Depot. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carolyn Kraus, sons Walter Kraus Jr., James (Lucia) Kraus, daughters Kathryn (Bill) Beebe, Lisa Panebianco (Nick), grandchildren Korynn Kraus, Marissa Kraus, Anthony Kraus, Michael Kraus, Christopher Beebe, Jason Beebe, and great-granddaughter Abigail Kraus.
Walter loved to travel the world, was an avid NASCAR fan, a devoted Disney aficionado, and especially loved cruises.
The family will receive friends on Thursday April 13, 2017, 5:00 pm– 7:00 pm at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1665 University Drive, Coral Springs where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00pm.
