ROZON, Agathe - At St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Thursday, September 8, 2016, peacefully at the age of 97, Agathe Rozon (née Bourgon), formerly of Blossom Park Drive, Cornwall, and North Lancaster. Long-time salesperson at Sears Cornwall. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Orene Rozon, in 2007. Dear mother of Richard (Paulette) of Cornwall and Denis (Elaine) of Orleans. Dear grandmother of Karine (Warren Layton), Malika (Terry Lu), Alianne and Amélie. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Xavi and Lyra Layton. Dear daughter of the late Samuel Bourgon and the late Élise (née Charlebois). She is survived by her sister, Jeannine Payette (Roger), and her brothers, Rhéal, Bruno (Jeannine Savard) and Urbain. Predeceased by her sisters, Mariette, Marie Ferland, Anne Charlebois, Laurentine Rozon, Dora and Élizabeth, and her brothers, William, Henri, Robert, Marcel, Adrien and Achille. Many thanks to the wonderful staff of McNeil House at SJCCC for their professional, compassionate, amicable and attentive care for Agathe during the past three years. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Lahaie and Sullivan, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841). A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at St-Felix-de-Valois Church, 620 Glengarry Blvd, Cornwall. Visitation will take place at the funeral home, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., prior to the funeral service on September 17. Internment of the urn will take place at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, October 3, 2016, at the St. Margaret of Scotland Parish Cemetery in Glen Nevis. Memorial donations to SJCCC, the Alzheimer’s Society of Cornwall or Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
