Anne died peacefully at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre in Cornwall, Ontario, in the early hours of October 1, 2026, at the age of 96. Many thanks to all the compassionate people who provided Anne’s care.

Loving mother of Bruce (Monique), Gordon (Queenie), and Mark. Dear friend of the late Mr. Roger Pinard (2025.) Predeceased by her parents Muriel Cass (née Hill) and Norman Cass.
Anne worked as a lab technician at T.C.F. and later as an interpretive guide at Upper Canada Village. She was an active member of several church choirs, as well as the Cornwall Centennial Choir. She was a passionate reader and bridge player. Anne also enjoyed world travel. Birdwatching and spending time with her friends and family at the cottage in Quebec were also activities she loved.
As per Anne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No funeral service will be held. Arrangements under the care and direction of Lahaie and Sullivan East Branch, 614 First Street East, Cornwall, ON (613-933-2841).
