Claude is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Rita Jeaurond (née Léger). He will be dearly missed by his children Marc Jeaurond (Angela) and Suzanne Levac (Ghislain); and his grandchildren, Stéphane Levac (Dalie), Éric Jeaurond (Josée), Joël Levac (Dominik) and Mélanie Jeaurond (Jacob).
He leaves behind many brothers and sisters-in-law, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Claude is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Alida (née Houle) Jeaurond, his brothers Roland Jeaurond (late Rosemary) and Gaëtan Jeaurond (Louise) as well as two brothers-in-law.
Donations can be made in Claude’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Cornwall and District or The Canadian Mental Health Association.
In following with Claude’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME EAST BRANCH, 614 FIRST STREET EAST, CORNWALL, ON. A service of remembrance will be held at 11AM on TUESDAY, MAY 16TH at ST FÉLIX DE VALOIS CHURCH, 620 GLENGARRY BLVD, CORNWALL, ON followed by interment at NATIVITY CEMETERY, 901 MCCONNELL AVE, CORNWALL, ON.
