Derek Leigh Carson

Leigh will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection for his keen intellect, quiet kindness and dry sense of humor. Cherished by family and friends, he held a steady, meaningful place in the lives he touched.

In his professional life, Dr. Carson served with dedication and purpose, earning the regard that follows a life spent in service to others. Beyond his work, Leigh found enjoyment and quiet satisfaction in cycling, and photography—interests that reflected a thoughtful attention to the world around him.

He was the beloved partner of Diana Webb. He is also survived by his sister Stephanie Carson and by his brothers, Chris (Diane) and Alan Carson. He was predeceased by his parents James Donald and Jane (née Dunham) Carson and by his sister Cindy Carson.

Arrangements entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, 614 First St. East, 613-933-2841. In accordance with Leigh's wishes, cremation will take place without a service at this time.
