McDOUGALD, Donald – it is with heavy hearts to announce the passing of Donald McDougald on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 85 years. Loving husband of Denise McKiver and of the late Doreen (née Ladouceur) McDougald. Dear father of Kevin McDougald, Bruce McDougald (Nathalie) and Kim Davidson (Mike) and stepfather of Gordon McKiver and Benjamin McKiver. Cherished grandfather, great-grandfather, step-grandfather and step-great-grandfather. Predeceased by his son Perry McDougald, his parents Archie and Florence (née O’Neil) McDougald and by his siblings Ronald, Douglas, Mary Ann, Frank, Joseph and half-brother Kenneth McDonald.
Donald was active in various organizations and sports, from his earlier days in the local boy scouts, the Avonmore volunteer fire department, the Long Sault broomball team, the sandbag group and many more. Rest in peace, you have been called home.
He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and extended family. Don will be sadly missed by his many, many friends.
