LÉGER, Fernande – on Friday, June 24, 2016. Fernande (Brière) Léger of Cornwall; age 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Gérald Léger. Loving mother of Denis Léger (Jacqueline) of Embrun, Gisèle Léger, Annette Paul (Roger), Louise Mason (Fred) and Lucie Léger (Henry Marsolais) all of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Natalie, Sue, Shelley, Daniel, Rheal, Roger Jr., Sylvie, Nicole, Chantal and Nathalie. Fernande will be remembered by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Eugene and the late Sophranie (Provost) Brière. Survived by sister Rhea St.Denis of Bonville. Predeceased by one daughter Jeannette, one grand-daughter, Brenda Lee Mason and by twelve siblings. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East, (613-933-2841) from 2 p.m. Monday. Funeral Tuesday, June 28, 2016 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral. A private interment will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
