

Frances Ann (Reilly) Belleville, a cherished and kind-hearted individual, passed away on December 8, 2025, at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 86. Born on July 29, 1939, Frances was a wise presence in the lives of all who knew her.
Frances was the beloved wife of the late Paul Emile Belleville. She was the devoted mother of Charlie Belleville (Linda), Steven Belleville (Mychelle), and Kimberly Belleville, and she was predeceased by her son, Michael Belleville. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Lisa, Vanessa, Emily and seven great grandchildren. Frances was also a loving sister to Arnold Reilly and Carol Reilly, and she was predeceased by her parents, Arnold Reilly Sr. and Anita (née Drapeau) Reilly, as well as her siblings, Richard, Clair, and Gerald.
Frances had a passion for knitting and was an active member of Cornwall knitting club. She created countless socks, slippers, hats and mitts which she donated to those in need. Frances enjoyed spending a lot of her time with her friends exploring new places and taking day trips to the countryside. Frances was very independent, outgoing and loved a good laugh. Her commitment to her community was evident through her very active involvement in various community activities.
Frances will be remembered for her wisdom, kindness, and the cherished memories she leaves behind.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at Lahaie & Sullivan East Branch 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday January 18, 2026.
