CARDINAL, J.G. Gerry – On November 5, 2017 at Carefor Cornwall Hospice; age 90 years old. Beloved husband of 64 years to Madeleine (née Rancourt) Cardinal. Dear father of Lyne, Michelle (Richard), Jean (Louise) all of Cornwall, ON and André (Nadia) of Saint-Constant, Québec. Dear grandfather of Steve (Josée), Eric, Karine, Nathaniel (Heaven), Chanel, William and Tristan. Great-grandfather of Lia, Lexie, Jaydan and Bella. Dear son of the late Olivier Cardinal and the late Délia Joanisse. Predeceased by 2 brothers, Leo, Yvan and 1 sister, Lillian Kinsella (late Bert). Mr. Cardinal was a former Courtaulds Manager for 28 years and Founder and President of the Cornwall Transportation Club. Gerry was also a proud member of Jim’s Winter Bridge Club. Sincere thanks to the staff of Carefor Cornwall Hospice for their precious support, dedication and excellent care given. Cremation. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 12:30 p.m. until time of Service on Friday. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 in Saint-Félix-de-Valois Church at 2 p.m. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery. CARDINAL, J.G. Gerry - À l'Hospice Carefor de Cornwall, le dimanche 5 novembre 2017, à l'âge de 90 ans, est décédé monsieur Gerry Cardinal, époux de Madeleine Rancourt. Il était le fils de feu Olivier Cardinal et feu Délia Joanisse. Monsieur Cardinal a été confié au crématorium Notre-Dame. Il sera exposé à la résidence funéraire Lahaie & Sullivan, succursale est, 614 Première rue est, Cornwall, le vendredi 10 novembre 2017 à compter de 12h30.Le service religieux sera célébré ce même jour, soit le vendredi 10 novembre 2017 à 14h en l'église de Saint-Félix-de-Valois et de là au cimetière Notre-Dame.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Lyne, Michelle (Richard), Jean (Louise) et André (Nadia).Ses petits-enfants: Steve (Josée), Eric, Karine, Nathaniel (Heaven), Chanel, William et Tristan. Ses arrière-petits-enfants: Lia, Lexie, Jaydan et Bella.

Il était le frère de feu Léo (feu Verna), feu Yvan (feu Ida) et soeur de feu Lillian Kinsella (feu Bert). M. Cardinal était un ancien gestionnaire de Courtaulds depuis 28 ans ainsi que Fondateur et Président du Cornwall Transportation Club. Gerry était aussi un fier membre du Jim's Winter Bridge Club.Les membres de la famille tiennent à remercier le personnel de l'Hospice Carefor de Cornwall pour leur précieux soutien, leur dévouement et les excellents soins prodigués.
