Gilberte Besner

BESNER, Gilberte- Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell site, on Saturday June 8, 2013. Gilberte Brisson Besner of Long Sault passed away at the age of 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Euclide Besner. Sadly missed by her sisters DesAnges Bruyere (Armand) and FleurAnge Dupuis (late Gaetan). Very special and longtime friend of Carol Boileau (Mike) and special aunt to Helene Brunet (Ghislain), Lise Brisson (late Hubert) and Maurice Brisson (Margarita). Fondly remembered by many nieces , nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Emile B. and Amanda Brisson, brothers Germain (Jeannette), Edouard (Marie), Fernand (Aline) and Lucien (Madeleine) and sisters Yvonne Millaire (Maxime), Rollande Forgues (Eugene) and Simone Menard (Fernand). Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, EAST BRANCH, 614 FIRST ST. EAST (613-933-2841) Funeral Wednesday, June 12, 2013 for Mass of Christian Burial in Paroisse Ste. Thérèse-de-Lisieux 1304 Lisieux St. Cornwall at 10 A.M., followed by Cremation. The family will be in attendance on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. and Wednesday from 8 A.M. until the time of Funeral.
