Larry Ford

It’s with love and sadness we said our goodbye to our dear husband, father, brother, friend of Larry Ford on July 14, 2026 at the age of 81 years old.

Born on April 4, 1945, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Larry lived a full life and will be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Larry was the beloved husband of Allie Ford. He was the loving father to Bryan Ford of Edmonton, David Ford of St. Albert, Alberta, Debbie McRae (Drew Smith) of Nova Scotia, the late Denis Banksland, and Elizabeth Leith (Jason) of Apple Hill.

He was a proud grandfather to Teagon McRae (Brent Wills), Kyle McRae of St. Albert, Alberta, Calvin McRae (Maya Mistry-McRae) of Edmonton, Kelly-Anne Leith of Apple Hill, Sophie Ford, Sebastian Ford, both of Edmonton, and Jake Ford of St. Albert, Alberta, and Great-grandfather to Kacey Marie Wills of Edmonton.

Larry is also lovingly remembered by his brother Glenn Ford (the late Karen) and his sister Noreen Brice (Brent), both of Vancouver. He was predeceased by his parents, Norman Ford and Irene Ford.

Larry enjoyed spending time on the golf course, where he found friendship, relaxation and many happy hours enjoying the game.

The family extends their sincere appreciation to the compassionate healthcare professionals who supported Larry and his family throughout his journey.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, East Branch (613 933 2841).
