Pauline Victoria Blanchard

Beloved wife of the late Claude Blanchard. Pauline was the loving mother of Jean-Claude (Jeannette), Denis (Frances), Linda (Jeff Pilgrim), and the late Lena. She was the cherished grandmother of Emma Rose (Noah), Kaitlin (Ryan), Bryson, and Zachary, and step-grandmother of Allie and Adam. Proud great-grandmother of Jake and Baby McCann.

Dear daughter of the late Wilfred and Ozeline Major. Pauline was predeceased by her siblings Arnold (late Irene), Gisèle Lemay (Marcel) and Roger.

Pauline took great pride in co-owning and operating Blanchard Convenience Store on Thirteenth Street in Cornwall with her husband, Claude, for many years.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff and personal support workers at Glen Stor Dun Lodge on the St. Lawrence Wing, 4th Floor, for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they provided to their mother.

In keeping with Pauline’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan – East Branch (614 First Street East, Cornwall). A private burial will take place at a later date.

In memory of Pauline, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or The Day Away Program at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge would be greatly appreciated by the family.
