Raymond Muir

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Raymond Muir on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the age of 77. Raymond will be lovingly remembered for his great sense of humour, generosity, kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Bonnie Calamida. He was a proud and devoted father to Cody Muir (Shelby Jacquier) and Megan Muir (Cameron Dohmen). He cherished his role as grandfather to Skylar, Olivia, Addilyn, and Noah, who brought him endless joy.

He is survived by his half sister Carole-Anne Schwab.

Raymond was predeceased by his loving parents, Jacqueline Muir (née Achim) and Ernest Muir, and by his sister Carol Muir.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to all those who offered care, compassion, and support throughout Raymond's journey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch (613-933-2841). In keeping with Raymond's wishes, cremation has taken place.
